Our Story
Unifund exists at the intersection of performance and compliance. We are an accounts receivable portfolio investment firm that specializes in using technology, analytics, and machine learning to purchase, manage, service, and liquidate distressed consumer receivables. For over three decades, we have redefined how data is used to maximize profits and we have steadily raised the bar on our standards for accuracy, transparency, compliance, and performance. We continually refine our technologies and processes to remain a preeminent leader in the receivables management industry and a long-term trusted partner to major banks, creditors, originators, financial institutions, and owners of distressed receivables across the United States.
Supporting Industry Advocacy Efforts
Legislation is the roadmap by which all industry regulations and best practices are established. Unifund actively supports and engages in advocacy efforts within the debt buying industry, particularly those by Receivables Management Association International. The RMAI Legislative Committees lobby for appropriate causes and promote reasonable and balanced reform efforts that impact the receivables management industry.
